
At the Tres Fronteras there was no warning of the number of steps...but check out these pictures and the distance you have to go down. I just IMAGINED that there were 500 steps because it LOOKED like it. Look at those tiny, tiny people way below! I stayed back with 5 students who also didn't want to make the hike.

Were the steps the only way down?
How long did it take those to go down and back up? That looks like a very neat place to shop for trinkets. Is this still Paraguay? or did you guys cross borders?
This was the Paraguay side. I don't know. That day it was raining steadily and I really didn't want to get all wet, tired AND sore. We did cross over to the Brazilian side after visiting the falls. We didn't go to the argentine side.
