These are old pictures, but it reminds us of the bond that Edson and Abuela had. When he was a baby he would sit still for an hour listening to Abuela pray in Guarani. I wonder how much he understood? Edson was her last grandson and she called him her "tesoro"...treasure. What fun times we had with Abuela...Gracias, Señor!

Kar, I've never met her, but the thing that strikes me most in the pictures you've posted...she looks so full of peace. Hugs esp. to Oscar at this time, and prayers go to your whole family. Love you....
This brought tears to my eyes. I love her attitude and her last words..."Gracias, Senor!"
So glad she and Edson had each other. It reminds me of Grandpa P's early years with his own mother before she died, and he could remember her singing to him, and praying...still sharing these memories with us when he was in his 90's!!
That's so wonderful that Edson has
a photo of his Abuela. And what a special memory that you will be able to share with him of how he made Abuela's last moments special. Praise God for that!
She leaves a legacy of faith and joy and Edson (along with the rest of you) will continue on those paths because of her prayers and life!
