Such Interesting Flowers

These are such interesting flowers. I have always loved them. They are about 1 foot long and sometimes grow even longer. The plant they come from looks similar to a banana plant. This plant is useless, it's a bother to many gardeners. It grows wild. But, look at its uniqueness. Look at its colors. Why did God create this strange, good-for-nothing flower that looks so amazing?...probably just so that I could stand here and marvel at His creations...and Him.

Hey, I have a banana plant, but it's NEVER flowered like that! I guess it's just too cold here, not tropical enough. Thanks for showing me what it COULD have looked like! :)

That is lovely! And to think man tries so hard to make beautiful things, but they never can compare to the things God gives us to enjoy...simple, "free", and always changing. Marvelous creation! Glad you cn enjoy such beauty.

Yeah, actually I'm getting my machete ready for tomorrow I hack a few of these plants back so I can drive into our narrow alley. The ones that are going tomorrow are all yellow. Don't worry, they'll grow back in a month or two. But yes, they are incredibly beautiful.

How beautiful!
Just about like our little dandilion. They look so nice and yellow against the green grass, but what a weed!
Thanks for sharing these pictures.

I wish I had some of the flowers weeding up my back yard! I'd put a bench under them and sit and marvel!
