Cheese Time!

Can you guess how many kilos (or pounds) this is? If you guess right should I send you some? It might be roquefort by the time it gets to you! Some Canadians know how THAT smells!
Ummm! A typical Paraguayan will use this cheese on bread with jelly, cut up in chunks floating in molasses, make batter with bits of cheese and fry it...here that is called tortilla. They will pinch it in tiny bits for cornbread (sopa paraguaya) or corn sufflĂ© (chipa guazĂș). They will make cheese bread (chipa), stir it in rice or noodles, mix it in with vegtable soups, make cornmeal and cheese dumplings, pizza, and so much more. It is $3.00 a kilo...fresh from San Pedro!

I never guess right- I always think there are way more jellybeans in the jar- but just for the sake of guessing- I'd say 100 lbs. And, more to the point- you are a wealthy woman in so many ways, Karen! Just looking at the pictures on your sidebar I'd say that your wealth is beyond comparison. Your sons ar so beautiful!

Looks about like 6 or 7 kilos (Maybe about 15 lbs?) How long does it take for you to eat all of that cheese? (OK, I realize you have 2 teen age boys with hollow legs, so it might not take too long.) Love you all

So are you going to tell us how much cheese there is in the picture?
