It's been so cold for the past month that I don't sit down and write often. It's too cold to sit still and my hands freeze while I write. I like to be in a warm spot, like the kitchen. Well, I am way backed up from the birthday party, but I still wanted to show you some of the pictures of my cakes. My icing didn't work as well as I wanted it to. It was kind of runny, but I tried to hide it well! There were bunches of cousins at the "Quince" (the 15th year birthday party).

It sure looks festive! Those girls look so happy. They have a special aunt who is very talented, and even her "mistakes" don't look like it. What a party!
Sorry about your cold weather. If we could bottle it up, we would send you some of our HOT weather. As long as it isn't humid out, it doesn't seem as hot, but there were several 90+ days lately. Whew!
Those are really beautiful. What a gift of love you have given those girls. I'm sure they will remember the beauty of that day- and never noticed anything wrong with the icing!
I sure don't see anything but perfection.
I love how you guys celebrate with gusto at birthday times! It's so pretty and if I were one of the girls, I would have felt sooo special!
