Rainy days are days to catch up...on somethings! It is a lazy enough day to read blogs and write blogs. It has been raining for almost a week now. Isn't funny how I am just now catching up with the blogs?
Rainy days also get me backed up....backed up on laundry especially! When our clothes dryer doesn't work (the Sun) then, my clothes (washing and drying) get backed up. I put them out and about in the living room and kitchen at night, but that means we wake up to 50ยบ weather for our family devotions.
Yesterday we had our Mother's Day asado (Barbecue) at church. We didn't have it last week because of the rain and our party was ended with a rain that didn't stop until just now.
Rain is on the weather forecast till Wednesday.
Either I will get a lot done...or...maybe not.

Even reading blogs is getting something done- maybe not what you need to have clean clothes, but it keeps you in touch with loved ones.
I like rainy days- they are softer and more open to contemplation- but then I have a clothes dryer that works even in the rain.
I've been thinking about you and praying for you and your family,Karen. And I'm hoping that you get some sunshiney days- soon!

I like rainy days if you don't have to leave the house. I remember well your indoor "drier", but it works. I don't think I'd like to wake up in a 50 degree house every morning. But, I'm glad the sun parted long enough for your assado. I'm sure that brightened a lot of people's hearts.
And I was just thinking yesterday that our dryer (the Sun) worked so well yesterday because it was so hot that it dried my clothes in about 10 minutes! No joke!
