Today

Just about every day there is a little bit of rain out there. Sometimes it's just a light rain and sometimes it's a loud thunder storm. It is very humid! Today we are enjoying nice breezes...
that cools things down a lot. The mosquitos are becoming HUGE. They are out at all times of the day. Our trees are loaded with growing fruits...mangos, grapefruits, oranges, guavas, kinotos, lemons, cherimoyas, and the star fruit.
The boys cut the grass today. They washed the car and swept it out. The house is clean, the clothes are dry, folded and put away. There is beef cooking in the slow cooker for empanadas later on.
...Hey, I think we need visitors again!

Empanadas? We'll be right there! (I wish...)

I was reading this as just a plain old lazy-summer day. It still amazes me that you'll celebrate Christmas in 2 weeks, just as we do in this cold!
I'm glad the boys help clean up around there. They'll clean up the empanadas, too.

Send the boys up. Our cars need cleaned out...washed, too! Getting too old to do that kind of stuff... Enjoy relaxing when you're not swatting mosquitoes!

I'm with Liz. If there are empanadas coming, we'll be right there ... I wish, too. Although they're probably long gone by now. :)

This was definitely NOT just a plain old lazy-summer day...my boys said (around lunch-time)...Mom, don't you EVER want to rest! We did "lazy" around in the afternoon that day, but the whole morning I just happened to find jobs to do! hahaha and yes...the empanadas were down in a couple of minutes!

Empanada??? There's a fresh ripe-looking mango hanging there. Mmmmm.
