These mangos are from a tree at the back of our house. They are around 1 lb. each...sometimes heavier. They are bigger than a softball. This one is almost ripe. We have to pick it before the birds pick AT it. Its loaded with vitamins, fiber and calories.

There is much in the way of new and exotic fruits here, but mangos are one of the favorites. In Indonesian the word is mangga. I have a hard time deciding between fresh mango, papaya, pineapple, bananas, etc. However, apples are expensive and good luck finding peaches. I've only seen them in cans.
