There is a ban on beef exporting and all the cattle of San Pedro. We butcher a cow about every 8 months and we actually were going to do it this weekend...BUT...read this link...Beef Exports Halted After FMD Detection. NOT GOOD!!!

No more hamburgers for a while. :(

I don't know how you guys are going to manage....
Were your cows affected? How would they be able to check? Could you still butcher in a couple of weeks? Wow, this seems pretty bad!
