National Anthem

Here in Paraguay the National anthem is sung at school like the Americans say the Pledge of Alligence (not sure how to spell this right now, sorry). The kids are taught to stand up straight with their arms down to the side. One is supposed to be face forward and very serious. During our school program last week celebrating our 200 yr. Independence Day. I happened to look over to my right where the pre-school group was standing. Some movements distracted me from the solemness of the National Anthem.
Sorry...I just had to break the rules of respect for the National Anthem and film this!
I told Edson that we could laugh about it this time...but he cannot EVER do this again during the National Anthem.

I never understood the stoicism of their himno! I mean, the song itself makes me want to move around a bit, but it almost seems like they're angry about it! But I do appreciate their patriotism. They love their country, and they're not afraid to say so!

I hope I didn't just offend Oscar. :)

Maybe he felt like I did when I had to sing OURS to all those 4th, 5th, and 6th graders that time! Whew!
He is a real cutie, even when he's a little bit of a nix-noots (like Gram would say--and never spell it.)
